Isle of Wight Photographer of the Year 2009

I was recently awarded 3rd place for one of my portraits of the magnificant male Barn Owl at the Isle of Wight Photographer of the Year Awards.

It was entered in ‘It’s a very small world': Go Wild on Wight Category, images depicting the natural world on the Isle of Wight.

Congratulations to 2nd place Stuart Shore for his image of a Red Squirrel and to the winner Gay Farmer with her beautiful image of a Dragonfly

The winner of the main category 'It's a small world' and the title of Isle of Wight Photographer of the Year went to David Vennings, 2nd place to Ian Scovell and 3rd place to my good friend Jason Swain.
